OpenLab "Sensible use of collaborative robotics"

On January 24, 2019 the Center for Production, Robotics & Automation organized the OpenLab "Sensible use of collaborative robotics".

In addition to three specialist presentations, the possibilities of current technologies could be viewed and discussed at eleven different demonstrations. The presentations covered the following topics:

• Human-robot collaboration based on standard industrial robots - intelligent safety functions
• Introduction of collaborative robot systems into existing production facilities - concepts for the automation of manual workstations
• Safe human-robot collaboration - application design and procedure for a safety-related consideration
