Strengthening Relationships with Chinese Universities and Partners
Fudan University:
On May 10th, the MCI China Center met with the Austrian Centre, established by OeAD, in Shanghai. I was warmly welcomed by Gloria Reim and Yuanyuan (Franziska) Song at the prestigious Shanghai Fudan University. It was a pleasure to discuss our shared vision for international collaboration, particularly between Austria and China.
Shanghai Lemen International:
Later in the day, I visited the headquarters of Shanghai Lemen Group in the China Financial Building in the central Pudong area. I was greeted by Co-founder and President Mr. Liu Zhi (Tony) and Ms. Chen Zehuan (Helen). This meeting marked our first in-person interaction after numerous online meetings during the COVID period about potential joint projects. We explored the "Shanghai Tongji MBA/EMBA Study Tour 2024" to Europe. It was crucial to renew our active engagement in Shanghai.
Shenzhen Technology University:
Following our productive meetings in Shanghai, I traveled to Shenzhen, a city renowned for its innovation and inspiration. I had the honor of participating in the International Lectureship Program 2024 at Shenzhen Technology University, where I was invited to give guest lectures from 13-18.05. The students exhibited strong interest in “Innovation Management and Doing Business in Europe.” Experiencing Shenzhen’s entrepreneurial spirit was once again a highlight of this visit. I was thrilled to introduce MCI to the Chinese students and connect with colleagues from this dynamic and forward-thinking university.
MCI China Center looks forward to continuing to build bridges with Chinese universities and partners, further enhancing opportunities for students, academia, business, and society both in Austria and China.
