On February 27, 2020 the Center for Production, Robotics & Automation - a joint initiative of the Entrepreneurial School® and the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) Tyrol – hosted the presentation of current technologies and services. The event was carried out in cooperation with well-known manufacturers and service providers such as SICK GmbH, KUKA CEE GmbH, SCHUNK Intec GmbH and BFI Steiermark. In addition to safe sensor solutions, safe clamping and gripping technology and collaborative lightweight robots, around 40 participants were able to get to know and evaluate, in particular, their combination in how to make sensible production and assembly solutions. Thanks to the vendor-neutral role of the Center for Production, Robotics & Automation, the event connected Tyrolean companies with manufacturers, service providers and R&D institutions for initial implementation projects.
