The monitoring and improvement of child and adolescent health is a key research focus of the Center for Social & Health Innovation (CSHI). The CSHI is currently implementing research projects with a variety of partners, such as the Bildungsdirektion Tirol, Land Tirol, ÖGK - Landesstelle Tirol, Pädagogische Hochschule Tirol (PHT) and Versicherungsanstalt öffentlich Bediensteter (BVA). The Center for Social & Health Innovation (CSHI) is currently conducting an online panel survey to investigate potential social consequences of the COVID19 epidemic. In the first wave, 1,024 Austrian individuals were surveyed. Predefined demographic quotas were used based on Statistik Austria population data.The second wave is set to take place in June 2020. The data collection was implemented by Dynata, a private market research company. The study contains indicators on people’s information habits, their attitudes toward COVID policies, their knowledge, and the fears related to the crisis. Click here to see all posts.
As a research center at the MCI, the Center for Social & Health Innovation is in contact with many students and supports them in research projects. For example, the CSHI supports students of the Nonprofit, Social and Health Care Management program working on research projects together with praxis organizations.
